It is with deep regret that we announce that from 31 December 2018, the Kennet River Dental Practice contract with NHS England comes to an end. Therefore, from this date, we will no longer be offering dental services to patients.

If you have an appointment booked with us from 1 January 2019, please consider this appointment to have been cancelled.

How Will This Affect You as Patients?

Patients who are currently undertaking a course of treatment can continue this at the Practice. The team will be contacting you shortly to arrange appointments to ensure your course is completed before 31 December 2018.

NHS England has advised us that they are committed to ensuring the local population has access to NHS dental treatment, and are making arrangements to start the procurement process in October and appoint a new NHS dentist in the area. It is anticipated the new service will start in Spring 2019.

In the meantime, alternative dentists may be found by calling NHS 111, or visiting the NHS website: https://www.nhs.uk/Service-Search/Dentist/LocationSearch/3
